For this occasion, Chef Nicola Coccia will be joined in the kitchen by the Queen of Pasta, Dannielle Mills—ex-owner of Young Barons and a powerhouse chef trained under Stefano Manfredi and Cameron Cansdell. With experience at Sydney’s Boathouse on Blackwattle Bay and a background in Egyptian pastries from Pioik Bakery, Dannielle brings a wealth of skill and passion to the table.
Dannielle and her husband, Bryce Gleeson, co-owned Young Barons together—where we first met them six years ago. Their pasta bar quickly became our regular Tuesday dinner spot, and over time, Dannielle became a dear friend. Bryce now brings his hospitality expertise to Carne & Cucina’s Front of House, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Dannielle back to the kitchen for this special event.
